The Finance Team is responsible for keeping an eye on the financial status of the church and its investments. They oversee financial stewardship of both giving and expenses while adhering to a church-approved budget.

The Mission Team is responsible for the mission outreach of GMBC and for recommending the support of new mission fields around the world. Nine missionaries are now supported on a regular basis by GMBC. It is their responsibility to assure that our missionaries align with our statement of faith and passionately proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved. Through two-way correspondence with our missionaries, information about their work and the work of GMBC is shared.

The Care Team ministers to others in the church and outside the church by caring. Some of the things they do are…
..Visitor Bags for those visiting the first time
..Welcome Baskets for new attenders which include sweet bread, jelly, candy and booklet
..Prayer Shawls for those in hard times/healing
..Mugs that can hod candy or personalized verses
..Scripture jars that have 52 Scripture verses with the first name of the recipient. These are verses of encouragement and reminders of God’s love for them
..Scheduling meals for church attenders that can use short-term meal prep
..Busy bags provided for children staying in worship services with parents
..Birthday and Anniversary cards
..Pillow cases for the Oncology Dept. for cancer patients

Team Leader: Merv Wyse

The Fellowship Team serves to facilitate the encouragement of the body of believers through coordinated times of “fun, food, and fellowship.” Their purpose is to also assist other teams with their efforts that would involve similar activities.

Team Leader: Daniel Moore

The Maintenance Team is responsible for the maintenance of the physical building at GMBC. It is their job to detect maintenance needing done and to direct and provide the necessary materials for getting the job done.

Team Leaders: Becky Postma & Judy Wyse

The Christian Ed team gives direction to one of GMBC’s points of focus in spiritual formation. They are responsible for Sunday School Classes, Pre-primary program, and Jr. Church programs. They want children of all ages to be taught God’s Word and discipled through these opportunities. They are thankful for the teachers and helpers in each of these outreaches.

Team Leader: Jessica Davis

The Worship Team is responsible for scheduling practices, selecting music, doing their best to remove distractions from the worship service, and being sure music is doctrinally sound. New songs are often introduced to teams and ten to the congregation.

Team Leader: Gary Davis

The Safety Team is responsible for the protection of those at GMBC. In the light of the world that we live in, we should be diligent, alert, careful, watchful, and prayerful.
